Launch the software on any computer on which you've installed it, open the "Help" menu and choose "Deactivate." Select "Deactivate Permanently" to remove the product authorization from each system.
For example, if you initially purchased Adobe Acrobat Professional 8 and have upgraded it through versions 9, X and XI, you must provide the physical media for all applicable versions. Give the transferee any physical media on which you purchased Acrobat product installers or updaters for the license you're transferring. Active support cases appear on the "My Open Support Cases" page of your online account. Locate the case number you obtained and click on it so you can upload your scanned documentation. Enter your Adobe Customer ID and password so you can sign in to your online account. Visit the online Adobe Systems customer support portal (see Resources). If your receipt shows a name, it must match the individual or company name you registered on your Adobe account. Valid proof of purchase must show the name and address of the reseller, the date you made the purchase and the amount you paid, along with the product and version you purchased. Scan the completed form, your proof of purchase - if you're required to supply it - and your photo ID so you can upload these documents to Adobe Systems with your completed License Transfer form. If you and she live in different parts of the U.S., you may need to mail her the form and include a pre-stamped return envelope so she can send it back to you for completion and submission.
Sign and date it, and obtain the transferee's dated signature.
If she has an Adobe customer number, ask for it so you can enter it as well.
